about hemingway audio
Hemingway Audio is a Seoul-based cable house founded in 1988 and built around FMCF (Frequency Modulation Cavity Fundamentals), a proprietary technology developed over roughly a decade and applied across the line since 2008. FMCF addresses cable-borne RFI and EMI by routing interference into a gold-plated network device fitted near the connector, where it is converted to magnetic energy rather than allowed to ride the signal. Every Hemingway signal cable and power cord uses the approach. The current line spans three tiers: the entry Indigo series, the mid Creation and Creation-S families, and the top Z-Core range, which covers interconnects, speaker cables, and power cords including the Z-Core Alpha, Beta, and Sigma power cords. The brand sits in the ultra-high-end cable conversation alongside specialists rather than mainstream component makers. In North America, Hemingway distributes through High End by Oz (Ozan Turan), with dealer support via Audio Limits (Darrin O'Neil). The brand has drawn named-press coverage from SoundStage Ultra, which reviewed the Z-Core power cords, and from Stereo Times, which has covered the Creation, Prime Signature, and Ultimate Signature cables. It is an established name in high-end circles without the mass recognition of the largest component brands. Hemingway exhibits at HIGH END Vienna 2026 and ships to the US through its North American distribution. Cables are made in South Korea.
