Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of madcoolhifi.com, any account or membership you take out, and any HighLevel sub-account you connect to Mad Cool HiFi via the Marketplace integration. Using the site or installing the integration means you accept them. If you disagree with any part, stop using the site and uninstall the integration.

Accounts

You're responsible for the magic links sent to your email. Don't share them; don't use another person's account. You can close your account at any time from the member portal or by email.

Membership

Paid membership gives you access to member-only content. Billing is monthly, charged in advance via Stripe. Price changes affect the next billing cycle; active subscribers get at least 30 days notice.

HighLevel integration

Mad Cool HiFi publishes a HighLevel Marketplace app that connects your HighLevel sub-account to our managed-service operations. The integration is OAuth-only and revocable at any time from the standard HighLevel install screen for the connected sub-account. Uninstalling stops all reads and writes from our side and invalidates our access tokens within minutes.

By installing the app you authorize Mad Cool HiFi to (a) read contacts, conversations, opportunities, calendars, workflow status, locations, and users from the connected sub-account, (b) write contact tags, opportunity stage transitions, and conversation messages on the connected sub-account in the course of the managed-service work you've engaged us to perform, and (c) receive lifecycle webhooks (contact, opportunity, appointment, and inbound-message events) so we can react in real time. We do not request agency-level scopes, billing/payment scopes, or snapshot-distribution scopes. The full scope list is shown on the HighLevel consent screen at install time and again on our privacy policy.

The integration does not replicate the HighLevel UI in a separate dashboard, does not charge you for the integration itself (managed-service tiers are billed in Stripe), and does not touch any sub-account that has not authorized the connection. The dealer that authorized the install is the data controller for that sub-account's HighLevel data; Mad Cool HiFi acts as a processor under your written or in-app instructions.

Acceptable use

Don't: attempt to bypass auth, scrape member content in bulk, send automated traffic that degrades service for others, or reverse-engineer the auth flow to impersonate a member. Do: use the site like a human, ask if you're not sure, report bugs.

Content ownership

Everything published on the site is © Mad Cool HiFi. You can quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish articles in full or train models on the corpus without written permission.

Warranty

The site and membership are provided "as is." We aim for 99.9% uptime on the main domain but don't guarantee it. Nothing on the site is personalized financial, legal, or medical advice.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to your use of the site is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We'll post updates here and, for material changes, email active members at least 14 days ahead of the effective date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
