about hart lab
hARt Lab is a Greek electronics maker building hybrid tube and MOSFET amplification, helmed by the three-engineer team of Nondas Gaveras, Kostas Trovas, and Nikos Fanakis. The house design combines a Class-A tube gain stage with a solid-state MOSFET output, a hybrid topology meant to pair tube linearity with the current-drive and load tolerance of transistors. The range is organized around the Tune series. The Tune Two is a reference preamplifier built around a Class-A tube stage running without feedback and paired with a Class-A tracking buffer, with an integrated DAC offering coaxial and optical inputs plus a headphone amplifier. The Tune Three is a reference dual-mono hybrid power amplifier, with the Tune Five and Tune Six extending the line further up the range. hARt Lab is a boutique import competing in the high-end hybrid-amplification segment rather than the mainstream, the kind of small reference shop that dealers stock for its distinctive topology rather than its volume. US distribution is handled by Airt Audio. The press record is real if compact: a review in hi-fi+ by Ed Selley, plus Stereophile show coverage and appearances at High End Munich, which establish it as a legitimately reviewed brand. hARt Lab's amplifiers are designed and manufactured in Greece.
