about hifi-tuning
HiFi-Tuning is a Berlin-based maker of audiophile fuses and system tweaks, specializing in fine-wire fuses built to higher tolerances than the generic glass-cartridge parts they replace. The company's premise is that the fuse in a component's power path is a series resistance and conductor like any other, and that a better-engineered fuse measurably changes what passes through. The line centers on the Supreme series, currently the Supreme 3, available in silver/gold alloy, copper, and diamond-tipped Diamond variants. The Supreme fuses use Silver/Gold alloy caps and burn wire, Mundorf Gold/Silver solder, and deep cryogenic treatment; the Diamond versions are made to order. The catalog also extends to power cords, connectors, and resonance-control accessories. HiFi-Tuning sits in the accessory and tweak category rather than the full-component tier, competing with other fuse and power-path specialists. In the US, HiFi-Tuning distributes through Ultra Systems of New Hope, Pennsylvania. Named-press coverage is unusually broad for the category: Stereophile, Positive Feedback, 6moons, and Stereo Times have all covered the fuses. That review footprint makes it one of the more credentialed names in a segment that often runs on word of mouth. HiFi-Tuning exhibits at HIGH END Vienna 2026 and ships to the US through Ultra Systems. Products are made in Germany.
